The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery FlaTio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella from the region San Pietro in Cariano in Italy.
Noble, bright ruby red colour with a subtly brightening rim. Initially shows lemony tones on the nose, then fresh cherry fruit, nutmeg, strawberry, slight aftertaste of wood and mint. On the palate with fine fruit and a juicy core, embedded in tightly woven tannins, shows beautiful drive, elegant, lingers for a long time, a great surprise!
