Rich, impenetrable ruby-violet. Finely drawn nose, but seems a little closed in and cool, of plums and pepper. Blossoms powerfully on the palate, opens up with lots of full-bodied, dense tannin, interwoven with rich melting, earthy and profound, long finish.
