Rich, deep dark ruby colour with a slight purple hue. Opens on the nose with pronounced savoury notes of cloves and cardamom, some dark pepper, then rich red berries. Appears compact and as if from a single mould, dense, fine-meshed tannins, lots of drive, also lots of juicy fruit, very long finish, fantastic.
