Rich, deep dark ruby with a black core. Opens with notes of soot and graphite, then rich elderberry and blueberry, cardamom in the background. Round and smooth on the palate, opens with lush notes of blueberry, some cardamom and cedar, lots of rich, tightly woven tannins on the back end, round and long, juicy finish.
