The red wine Filetta di Lamole DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Fontodi has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a nuanced nose typical of the region with notes of sweet cherry, rosehip, sage bonbons, black tea, and ethereal herbs. On the palate there are soft grainy tannins on a juicy base, with a mild acidity, and a round and harmonious finish. This is a Chianti from high altitude, but also from a warm year, and it is very precise and fine.
