The white wine Petit Manseng Weinberg Dolomiten IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Franz Haas Winery has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Manseng from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
It has a brilliant gold colour. On the nose there are aromas of cold smoke, light honey, candied lemon peel, ripe peach, and a hint of bourbon vanilla, it is a multi-layered bouquet. On the palate it has a racy attack, with lovely golden yellow fruit, unfolding beautifully over the tongue with a well-integrated oak character. It is rich, with supporting acidity, and is very successful in this vintage.
