The red wine Darmagi, vintage 2004 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2007 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Langhe in Italy.
Bright ruby purple; subtle roasted notes on the nose, hazelnuts and chocolate, then licorice and cassis; dense, supple tannin in the attack, shows slightly spicy notes, lots of tobacco in the finish, long finish.
