The red wine Barbaresco Sorì Tildin DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Shimmering ruby colour with garnet rim. Very vivid and intense nose, opens with notes of wild raspberries and strawberries, then some rose petals, a touch of leather in the background that makes the whole thing exciting. Multi-layered on the palate, very concentrated, with much polish and juiciness, very long finish, a poem!
