The red wine Barbaresco DOCG Costa Russi, vintage 2013 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Luminous, brightening ruby. Intense, very finely marked nose, shows notes of raspberry, pomegranate, very clear and inviting nose. A lot of fine fruit on the palate, also reveals notes of raspberry, opens with finely meshed, elegant tannins, complex, delicate and long finish.
