The red wine Barbaresco Costa Russi DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens with light smoky notes, dried tomatoes, fine aroma of cranberries and plums. On the palate very polished and round, opens with lots of fine-meshed tannin, salty, very juicy, shows great flow, long finish with pronounced notes of cherries.
