The red wine Terra di Lavoro, vintage 2005 from the winery Galardi has been rated in 2007 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Campania in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby with a violet shimmer; initially shows fine spicy notes of cloves and thyme, then cherry jam, some tobacco; very taut in the attack and finish, opens with gripping, hearty tannin, then shows lots of sweet berry fruit, blackberries, salty, lots of depth, very long finish.
