The red wine Som Negre Vino de la Terra Mallorca IGP, vintage 2010 from the winery Galmés i Ribot has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
A tarry woody note and highly ripe dark berry fruit, blueberry compote and cassis jam, high palate presence from the start to the long finish, silky tannin, which does not seem to lack tension, but increases to a noble astringency, lots of juice and fruit behind it, well covered alcohol, inconspicuous acid support, a seamlessly fused amalgam of fruit and extract, very modern, but definitely with charm and coherence.
