The red wine Albe Barolo DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery G.D. Vajra has been rated in 2011 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant ruby garnet. Very clear and memorable nose, aromas of dark, ripe cherries, some raspberry, very fruity. Warm and velvety in the attack and on the palate, lots of rich, round, ripe berry fruit, opens up with polished tannins, fine melting, long and persistent.
