Tasting from 16.10.2023: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, brilliant ruby red. Spicy nose, nutmeg, cloves and pepper, with some sour cherry behind. The palate has more fruit and juice, round, silky tannins, vibrant acidity, spicy, medium-long finish.

Bright and brightening ruby. Opens with pronounced spicy notes, of cloves, some allspice and galangal, then dark cherry. Lardy and round in the approach, lots of ripe plum and cherry, then in the finish unfortunately quite drying tannin, in the echo still dominant oak note.
