Dark, bright ruby red. On the nose, dark berries, undergrowth, tobacco, also delicate hints of shoe polish, then truffle and blackberry, earthy. Lots of tannin on the palate, grippy and earthy, stretches out nicely, with drive, earthy and individual, a wine to chew on, keep storing.
