The white wine Malvasia Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Gigante Wine & Welcome has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malvasia Istriana from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense, rich straw yellow with a light golden hue. Peach yoghurt, herbs, chamomile and sage on the nose, with a hazelnut and banana aftertaste. On the palate it shows with a certain juiciness and clear fruit, develops with full-bodied tannins, a salty finish and good length.
