The red wine L'Arringatore Umbria Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Goretti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points.
Powerful, flint ruby with purple shimmer. Opens on the nose with dark berry notes of blueberry and raspberry, some liquorice in the background. Firm, full-bodied tannins characterise the wine's attack and finish, dark berries on the palate too, somewhat rough on the finish.
