The red wine L'Arringatore Colli Perugini DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Goretti has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Merlot from the region Umbria in Italy.
Dark shining garnet. Initially savoury tones on the nose, notes of malt and coffee grounds, opens up after some time in the glass to notes of dark leather and ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and strawberry confit. Shows beautiful density and clear fruit on the palate with grippy, taut tannins, juicy and also slightly salty, with persistence.
