Der MERLOT ist im französischen Bordelais, in den nordöstlichen italienischen Weinregionen und im Kanton Tessin die meistangebaute Rebsorte. Auch im Wallis hat diese Rebsorte inzwischen Einzug gehalten. An seinem bevorzugten Standort im Wallis in Sierre, im Weingebiet „Les Bernunes", reift der Merlot zu einem hervorragenden Tropfen. Er verfügt über eine Aromavielfalt von Pflaumen, Schwarzkirsche und Nelken. Der Ausbau im Holzfass verleiht diesem Tropfen eine unglaubliche Komplexität mit ausgezeichneter Tannin-Struktur.

On the nose notes of wild berry compote, cherry and plum. Hints of milk chocolate and spicy nuances. Medium-bodied on the palate, with ripe acidity and aromas of dark berries and dried plum. Slightly noticeable tannin, medium length finish.
