Intense, ripe fruit, plum, elderberry, also light berries, plus notes of caramel and liquorice, subtle bread crust. Impressive fullness on the palate, pleasantly soft with fine tannins and ripe acidity, animating fruit sweetness. Still appears young. Finishes long with notes of fruit and pepper. Powerful and yet elegant in its own way.
