Tasting Notes
Currant, ripe yellow apple and blossom honey on the nose, also pear peel. Again ripe fruit on the palate, rather slender in stature, good extract, juice and texture, fine acid vein and also phenolics entries. A sensitively vinified Pinot Gris with a cool timbre and restrained generosity.
More about the tastingBlossom honey and red berries on the nose, a ripe fruity varietal type. And light mash notes. Aromatic ripeness on the palate too and delicate phenolic notes. Slightly fruity, fine acidity. Brings out the rather cool terroir well.
More about the tastingSmoky new wood, mineral notes still remain in the background. Silky on the palate, finely chiseled, yet also very supple and noticeably wood-supported, especially in the soft, creamy parts, yet one senses a rough mineral vein behind this plush product. In its fully matured state, it will be precisely this minerality that carries the wine. Leave to age for ten years!
