The white wine Steinberger Riesling trocken Goldkapsel, vintage 2016 from the winery Hessische Staatsweingüter Kloster Eberbach has been rated in 2018 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Very floral with rose and violets, but also downright fruity with red berries, especially raspberry. On the palate, the wine is dense and vibrant with dry phenolics and gripping extract. At the same time, it is taut, nervy, and long, with crisp acidity, drive and the highest energy.
