Clear, intense ruby red. Opens with notes of leather, then ink and beet, lots of blackberry in the background, all countered by a fine layer of pepper. Spans a wide arc on the palate, many layers of grippy tannins characterise the mouth feel, dark berry fruit and great spiciness, earthy components on the finish.
