The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Isole e Olena has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby red. A very expressive and inviting nose opening with notes of carob followed by ripe blackberry and cherry aromas. Initially juicy and rounded with developing cherry flavours, supple, fine-meshed tannin, saline and long with good tension on the finish.
