The red wine Cepparello Toscana IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Isole e Olena has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby colour with a fine garnet shimmer. Opens with notes of tobacco, then lots of cherry, some raspberry, blackberry and milk chocolate. Juicy and clearly defined fruit on the palate, lots of raspberry, opens with fine-knit, polished tannins, spans a wide arc, salty on the finish.
