Intense ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Very fragrant, penetrating nose of blackberries and cherry jam, slightly resinous-balsamic notes in the background. Grippy, gripping tannins on the palate, lots of ripe berry fruit, spreads out well, full-bodied pressure on the finish.
