Transparent ruby red with purple reflections. Opens with smoky notes on the nose, then reminiscent of roasted hazelnut and blackberry, with a subtle pepper savouriness on the finish. Good tension on the palate, makes room, presents itself fruity in the middle section and with tightly woven tannins, well-integrated use of wood, powerful but with good drinking flow.
