This has a dark garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of fresh plum, ripe cherry fruit, a gentle tobacco spiciness, and a mineral touch. It is juicy, with an elegant texture, dark fruit, fine tannins, blackberry confit on the finish, and a salty aftertaste. It is a versatile food wine.
