Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate watery rim. A multi-faceted bouquet, with notes of sweet cherries, delicate hints of cassis and a subtle herbal savouriness, underlaid with nuances of liquorice. Full-bodied on the palate, savoury notes, sweet cherry confit, vivid tannins that give the wine length, pronounced fruit and a savoury touch on the finish. A good food wine, with definite ageing potential.
