Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Dark berry fruit, a hint of oak, a hint of heart cherry, with herbal notes and nougat in the background. Juicy, good complexity, velvety tannins, fine berry confit, sticks well, mineral aftertaste, a versatile food companion.
More about the tastingDark ruby with purple reflections and delicate ochre tints on the lighter rim. On the nose there is attractive black berry fruit, nuances of cherry, some plum, a touch of oak, nougat and some vanilla. The palate is powerful, with pronounced fruit, juicy, ripe cherry, well integrated tannins, a little nougat and a mineral aftertaste. Very good length and will benefit from further bottle ageing.
