The white wine Picolit Collio DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Komjanc Alessio has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Piccolit from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Dark, vibrant golden yellow in colour. An inviting, fragrant nose of blossom and candied fruit, backed by aromas of madeleine cake. The palate is full-bodied but unfortunately seems a little sugary, with noticeable acidity and retronasal notes of candied red apple. The finish is long and characterized by sweetness.
