The sweet and dessert wine Gewürztraminer Auslese, vintage 2020 from the winery Krebs-Grode has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
There is a floral aroma of rose blossom, very typical of the grape variety, along with some candied citrus fruit. It has a restrained acidity on the palate, a noticeable sweetness, as well as honey and almond cake, all underpinned by the flavour of a rose, and it is also creamy and dense, with good length. It is a wine that will match well dessert.
