The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery La Fornace has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby garnet. Intense, appealing nose with notes of fresh cherry, cranberry and green, spicy components. Full-bodied and gripping on the palate, showing plenty of well-matured tannin, juicy fruit, spans a wide arc, cedar on the finish.
