The red wine Terrasses du Larzac AOP La Pèira en Demaisèla, vintage 2016 from the winery La Pèira has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, ochre touch, delicate bright rim. Inviting nuances of liquorice and blackberries, layered with a hint of nougat, candied orange zest, mineral aspects. Juicy, fine fruit extract, pickled cherries, silky, ripe tannins, long length, a harmonious, already a well matured food wine, sweet cherries on the finish, has great charm.
