The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery La Sala del Torriano has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby red. Compact nose, dark berries, lots of blackberry, some mulberry, cloves in the background. Full-bodied on the palate, ripe berry fruit, grippy, well-integrated tannins, good persistence on the finish.
