The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery La Sala del Torriano has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with slight brightening on the rim. Elegant, inviting nose of ripe, lush cherries, ripe currants and wild berries. Very well balanced on the palate, lots of everything, great crisp acidity, juicy tannins, pronounced fruit sweetness, long finish.
