The red wine Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Le Bertille has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet red with brightening on the rim. Dried wild strawberries and sour cherry on the nose, some toasted almond, hints of damp earth in the aftertaste. Ripe figs and dried red flowers on the palate with a subtle interplay between acidity and tannins, unfortunately a bit washed out and bitter on the finish. .
