The red wine Pietro IGT, vintage 2001 from the winery Le Filigare has been rated in 2006 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby; very dense nose, elderberries, milk chocolate and roasted hazelnuts in the background; shows a lot of juicy fruit on the palate, rich, unfolds with firm tannins, still a little rough on the finish, but should integrate well, fresh acidity.
