The red wine Podere Le Rocce IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Le Filigare has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Mocha and caramel on the nose with dark raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and light tobacco. Substantial, dense palate, viscous and full of extract with mild acidity and a soft finish. Quite a bit of power on show here and reveals another facet of Tuscany.
