The red wine Pietro IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Le Filigare has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, dark ruby red. On the nose rich and savoury, carried by elegant liquorice, a touch of vanilla, coffee grounds, then a whole bouquet full of ripe dark berries. On the palate balanced and textured with tightly woven tannin, builds in many layers, does not seem overbearing, the finish is markedly fruity and savoury, long.
