The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Le Macioche Famiglia Cotarella has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Roasted walnut, sealing wax and oak on the nose, as well as rich Amarena cherry and very ripe plum. Opens up on the palate with a fine mellowness, also shows slightly resinous tones, drinks easily, but breaks down a little at the back.
