The red wine Mute, vintage 2013 from the winery Le Moire has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gaglioppo from the region Calabria in Italy.
Rose petal, dried meat and maquis, sage and dried undergrowth, dried fig, complex and independent. Well-bundled on the palate - and very balanced, classically constructed with ripe, medium-grained tannins, subtly supportive acidity and a spicy finish. Authentic southern Italy at the highest level. Serve with a strong herbed lamb stew.
