The red wine Poggio alle Nane Maremma Toscana DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Le Mortelle has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with fine purple shimmer. Very lush nose with pronounced Mediterranean notes of cedar and thyme, then mulberries, blueberries and carob. Shows a lot of rich ripe berry fruit on the palate, lots of sweet texture, grippy tannins, hearty, with an aftertaste of prunes and dark chocolate.
