The prosecco Extra Dry Prosecco DOC from the winery Le Rughe has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Brilliant, bright pale yellow. Light yeasty notes on the nose, then melon and pear. Very dry on the palate for an Extra Dry, certain juiciness, which however changes to a drying aftertaste, seems unbalanced.
More about the tastingBrilliant, light straw yellow with persistent mousse. Fragrant, floral nose of orange blossom and a delicate hint of lemon. Cool juice on the palate supported by fine mousse, balanced, dry and clear on the finish.
