The red wine "La Marega" Amarone della Valpolicella classico, vintage 2013 from the winery Le Salette has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Expressive dark berry fruit on the nose, with roasted coffee also. Lots of texture at the start on the palate, with tannin and acidity closely coupled and integrated creating plenty of palate presence. Remains fresh despite all the power - and incredibly long.
