The red wine La Marega Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Le Salette has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Oseleta, Dindarella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby with a light garnet edge. Opens on the nose with pronounced notes of new wood, lots of vanilla, the fruit remains in the background. On the palate the whole becomes unfortunately not better, also there dominated by the wood, dries out.
