The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Cascina Lo Zoccolaio has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brightening ruby red. Restrained nose, muted even, with hints of red cranberries, sealing wax, savoury notes and forest berries. A rather one-dimensional palate with grippy-drying tannin, but fruit that fades fast on the finish.
