Tasting Notes

Tasting from 06.05.2026: Peter Moser, Benjamin Herzog & Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Roland Graf (Spirits)

The vines used for this wine were planted in 1912. Enormous, natural concentration, without becoming broad. A deep nose of rosehip, blackthorn, and white pepper, with hints of violets and herbs in the background. Concentrated on the palate, yet incredibly precise, with silky fruit that melts on the tongue, fine-grained tannins, and vibrant freshness. Powerful, with tremendous length and a salty-peppery finish.
