The red wine Morgon "Corclette", vintage 2022 from the winery Louis Claude Desvignes has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
Dark chocolate, yoghurt liqueur and prunes on the nose. A viscous attack and grainy tannins characterize the palate, whereby the powerful structure is supported by a fairly firm acid nerve. The mineral background will gain in presence as the wine matures in the bottle, especially as the tannins round off.
