Tasting Notes
Rich ruby colour with a fine garnet sheen. Interwoven nose, nuances of fine tea, some incense, then lots of raspberry, some graphite and liquorice, earthy notes dominate. Full-bodied and with great density on the palate, multi-layered tannins, grippy but also with necessary finesse, spans widely, very long finish, balsamic.
